What is ISOBUS?

ISOBUS is an industry-standard protocol that enables your equipment to “speak the same language” between implements and displays, regardless of brand. More than just compatibility–it allows your equipment to perform with greater precision.

With ISOBUS, the settings and configurations are stored directly on the implement via an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). When you connect the implement to any ISOBUS-compatible display, it automatically transfers the implement-specific settings for plug-and-play functionally.

Whether you’re planting, seeding, spraying, spreading or slurrying, ISOBUS gives you the power to manage your entire fleet with one universal system, gaining a new level of precise control.

Why choose Field-IQ ISOBUS solutions?

Scalability

Your farming operation will grow and change over time. ISOBUS can be used for a variety of applications, and different types of equipment. It also provides flexibility based on operation experience and can be utilized for as much or as little as the user is comfortable with.

Increase Equipment Longevity

You don’t have to part with your trusted equipment just to keep up with new technology. ISOBUS retrofits allow older implements to connect seamlessly to ISOBUS-compatible systems to ensure your equipment remains productive.

Ease of Use

Managing multiple monitors and operating systems is time-consuming. ISOBUS simplifies operations through a single display so that you can operate all your implements—regardless of brand.

Boost Return on Investment

It’s hard to justify expensive upgrades when your current equipment still works. ISOBUS allows you to upgrade your existing equipment, which means significant cost savings. Not to mention, you’ll save money on inputs by reducing overlap and increasing precision in your fieldwork.
