MCX Tech wasn’t built in a boardroom.
It was built in paddocks, sheds, workshops and on the road.
What started as a family farming operation in Gunnedah evolved over decades into something far greater. Through hands-on experience in spraying, machinery, parts, and service, one thing became clear:
technology was the future - but the industry needed someone to make it work.
That’s where it began.
Founder and Director Mick Casey didn’t set out to create just another ag business. He set out to solve a problem:
farmers didn’t need more products - they needed trusted advice, integration, and support that actually worked in the field.
From those early days - living out of a ute, installing systems, and learning through trial and error - a new kind of business emerged.
One that wasn’t tied to a single brand.
One that could connect everything together.
One that could stand alongside the farmer - not just sell to them.

MCX Tech is built on the legacy of Vantage New South Wales - one of the most respected precision ag technology businesses in Australia.
Vantage NSW was established as part of a global shift toward brand-agnostic technology solutions, working across machinery, agronomy, and inputs to deliver integrated outcomes.
While many saw disruption, we saw opportunity.
Instead of losing identity, we strengthened it.
